Subject: Contaminated Waste

Dear Sir/Madam,

Could I please refer you to Sand Removed From Huttoft Beach?

My concerns are that:

  1. A recently repaired sea defence has been damaged by the removal of the sand.
  2. The contractor may not have a mineral license to removal the sand
  3. The sand will be contaminated with dog mess which is a product of animal origin not intended for human consumption and should only be removed by contractors licensed to carry such waste.
  4. The contaminated waste may now have formed The Beach, Nottingham without being cleaned and may now be a risk to health.

Could I please request that the EA investigate my concerns and inform me of their findings?

KIndest Regards,

Andy Strangeway
