Lincolnshire County Council have clearly lost the plot. They identify an issue with litter at Huttoft Car Terrace and bizarrely introduce an overnight parking ban to deal with it.
Of course no litter will be dropped in the 16 hours of daytime! No I don’t understand the logic either.
Up until Friday their failed solution of banning overnight parking to deal with the litter issue has cost tax payers over £100,000. But on Friday it got worse. They have employed two security officers to park on Huttoft Car Terrace for the night.
Lets Talk Numbers
I will be very conservative with my numbers.
2 security guards @ £10 per hour x 8 hours = £160 x 365 days a year = £58,000pa. Add to this the £100,000plus already wasted on this failed solution and we have a total of £158,400.
Litter Picker Required
Lincolnshire County Council obviously have £58,400pa to deal with the issue of litter and consider this a good use of resources. Could I suggest that those who would like to apply for the job of Huttoft Car Terrace Litter Picker contact Councillor Colin Davie with their CV email@example.com

We are now up to £158,400 wasted on Colins failed solution. How much more will one man be allowed to waste of Lincolnshire County Councils tax payers money?
