LCC Required To Save £90 Million

Lincolnshire County Council are required to save £90 million by 2018 due to government funding cuts.

The Huttoft Car Terrace fiasco is currently costing in access of £100,000 per annum in addition to a further lost income from parking fees of an estimated £100,000 per annum. Between now and 2018 this equates to £1 million or more importantly over 1% of the amount LCC must save by 2018.

I have sent the email below to Leader of LCC Mr Martin Hill and the Chief Executive Mr Tony McArdle.

Subject: LCC Savings

Dear Mr Hill and Mr McArdle,

Could I politely refer you to

This is a very simple way to save more the 1% of that which is required and more importantly the saving will have no affect on the service LCC provides.

I am delighted to inform you I am giving you this advice free of charge.

If you would like me to identify further savings I am happy to offer my services to LCC for a modest fee.

Kindest Regards,

Andy Strangeway
