The Lincolnshire Byelaw for Pleasure Grounds, Public Walks and Open Spaces is racist as it is clearly aimed at New Travellers. As this is in breach of the Equality Act 2010 unless Lincolnshire County Council agree to revoke the byelaw within 5 working days I will request the Secretary of State to revoke the racist byelaw.
The Secretary of State has powers to do this as per the Local Government Act 1972 states:
“The Secretary of State may, in relation to England, by order revoke any byelaw which appears to him to have become spent, obsolete or unnecessary.”
No reasonable person in England can possibly disagree that a racist byelaw has become spent, obsolete and unnecessary.

As per the post I request that Lincolnshire County Council agree to revoke the racist byelaw within 5 working days or I will refer the matter to the Secretary of State.
