The Environmental Protection Act 1990 states:
“It shall be the duty of each local authority, as respects any relevant highway or, in Scotland, relevant road for which it is responsible, to ensure that the land is, so far as is practicable, kept clear of litter and refuse.”
On account of this legislation North East Lincolnshire upheld my complaint regards their overflowing litter bins. For further information please read Litter Bins – Buck Beck, Cleethorpes, North East Lincs
As North East Lincolnshire Council upholds complaints regards their duty under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 why do their neighbours Lincolnshire County Council not? To make matters worse they waste £110,000 of tax payers money blaming others for their breach.
