Lincolnshire County Council have breached legislation and apologised – again! This time David Coleman, Chief Legal Officer For Legal Services Lincolnshire has stated::
“I accept the reference to you by name, without including reference specifically to the campaign, would be likely to give the impression that the reference was to you personally, rather than to the campaign. I agree that this could be considered misleading and inaccurate and a breach of the fourth data protection principle. I would like to apologise to you, on behalf of the Council, for the way your data was processed on this occasion.”
